Happy December! I'm back from a really exciting adventure in Panama (pics coming soon) and diving straight into holiday mode. We're shipping out tons of goods these next few weeks, including some these new wall decals -- great for home decor or gifts. They apply easily to the wall and remove without leaving any residue or damage. Prices range from $10 - $65 depending on the size. We're really psyched about this new addition to the shop!

We had the opportunity to work with Elaine and Josh on their entire wedding, from designing and engraving the invitations on through all of the reception materials. Really great folks, we loved working with them.
I'll be sure to share more photos of the invitations when we have the images ready!
We took to the road to drive through the vast mountains of the Sierra Gorda, a region north of Queretaro city. Some of the roads took us high into the clouds, as the road wound in hairpin turns through misty little villages. This is an archeological site from the 5th century, the ruins of Las Ranas.
We've added a second date for our Paperfinger Calligraphy + Regas Studio Letterpress workshop series! Tuesday's class sold out so fast, we decided to make another one happen that same week! Seats available for the Thursday evening class, March 21st. All info and registration: paperfingerworkshop.brownpapertickets.com
Of those, two million, like me, make donations of less than $25 each time. All those small donors add up.
This is when it really matters!
Last Thursday, the magical matriarch of my family, the smart, gorgeous, lively, hilarious, courageous, strong G'mom (aka my grandmother), passed away. We are mourning the loss but thinking constantly of her incredible energy and spirit. After combing through album after album this past weekend, I have a collection of photos I'd love to share with you throughout this week.
Bracket is designed to explore the key issues that surround the creative sphere with each volume having a distinctive theme. The first, Craft and this one, Hunger. As co-founder Felix Ng explains, "The publication covers topics that in modern day, have become seemingly dispensable." Paperfinger was a featured contributor along with John Maeda, Seth Godin and many other fascinating creative professionals. It was a huge honor.
Bracket Vol. 2 can be ordered or purchase online here.
I was so impressed by this video in Sunday's NY Times: an interview with high school soccer star, Indie Cowie, who is not only an incredibly strong player (and endearing, articulate and smart), she's a hugely impressive freestyler -- the solo ball tricks, which well if you haven't seen it, this video is a great place to start.

I've been obsessed with these cards ever my pal, Maya showed them to me a few weeks ago. They are a work of art. And such a tenderly executed idea. Each card offers protection from something, "Portable Fortitude, 54 Talismans for Home and Abroad." These photos are from the artist's site (CorinnaDross.com). You can purchase a pack from her Etsy shop for $16. A remarkable gift.
