rajana : association of cambodian art & craft

rajanaOn my trips to Phnom Penh, I always make a stop at Rajana for gifts (for myself as well as others!). Rajana Association is a non-profit organization that supports Cambodian handicraft groups by selling their products in the Rajana shops in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Siem Reap. All products are fair-trade and include bags, textiles, spices, cards, jewelry, scarves, housewares and clothing.

I made a stop there this morning before the day's heat got the best of me and went a bit hog-wild. As usual.

They offer training and support to the craftspeople, some 130 families or groups in rural villages throughout Cambodia. There are also workshops in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
