Eric Fischer used geodata on picture-taking to produce these graphics that show a blue dot for photos taken by locals, red dots for photos taken by tourists and yellow for undetermined. Chicago is pictured above.
The data comes from his first project, The Geotagger's World Atlas, where he mapped the number of photos taken in different locations based on Flickr and Picasa tags.
The Locals and Tourists project takes it a step further by identifying if those those photos were taken by, well, locals or tourists!
