sunday suppers + paperfinger

Sunday-Suppers-Paperfinger Sunday Suppers is a beautiful blog about elegant meals that normal people learn to cook for themselves. (With guidance and a magic aesthetic wand.)

Karen Mordechai, photographer and food stylist, hosts these dinners in a Brooklyn loft as a fun activity for groups of friends who want to learn a bit of cooking and enjoy a good meal. Karen collaborates with florists, event designers and calligraphers (ahem) to create a to-die-for spread and then blogs about it.

I was very happy to accept an invitation to contribute to a harvest supper a couple weeks ago, joined by Jillian from 100 Layer Cake, and created a handwritten menu (artfully framed above) along with slate place tags tied to each seat's cutlery.
